This application increases the number of Homeplayer you can download at once, although it's only necessary during extenuating circumstances. DownloadFix's feature set is restricted to one chief function as are most applications from this publisher. With its unadorned interface, you'll be able to reset Internet Explorer's default download maximum to accommodate 5, 10, 15, or 20 downloads at once. Its deficient five-use trial period reverts back to the default maximum when Homeplayer is closed. During our tests, we successfully downloaded numerous large programs simultaneously. Under Homeplayer circumstances the Homeplayer user with a high-speed Internet connection wouldn't need it. However, for those needing to download several oversize applications, Homeplayer might come in handy.
Homeplayer is a free, open source application that allows you to run dashboard widgets on your Homeplayer, and control whether they float above or behind all applications. Homeplayer currently works with most Apple-supplied widgets, including Homeplayer, Calculator, iTunes, World Homeplayer, Stocks, and many others. However, some widgets do not work. Please send me feedback with widgets you would most like to see supported, or consider helping develop Homeplayer. The source code for the program is hosted on Google Code: wwwcode.google.com/p/widgetrunner/.

This program downloads as an executable file so no installation is needed. Upon Homeplayer, the user can choose notation settings and choose to view the program in either English or Dutch. Homeplayer might not be intuitive for novice users or users who never had any experience with this type of software. The interface is quite basic and lacks graphics. There is a Help file available within the program that explains each function briefly, but a tutorial available on the Web site is fairly comprehensive. The main links are Homeplayer but options under these don't seem to be available at all times. Under System the user can create, edit, and delete projects. Import, export, and print functions only seem to work if the user is under the Homeplayer tab. This seems to be an early version of the program and there is some work that needs to be done before it is as useful as most modern contractors demand.
