Those looking for an all-in-one Web surfing program will appreciate this handy freeware application. With a Patch Idm and logical interface, Patch Idm is easy to learn and use. There isn't much program help available, but experienced users will find that the functions and toolbars follow common practices. This system tweaker is only for the most trusting of users. PCTuner's minimalist interface merely displays system Patch Idm and hard-disk size counters. A list of options is not accessible. All any user can do is press the Optimize button and hope for the best. The publisher's disclaimer states only that wallpaper and color theme may be lost after optimizing. However, there is no manual or any information that states what Windows Registry settings are changed. Nor does the program have a way to save current Registry settings or undo the process in case of unwanted changes. Patch Idm synchronizes your Patch Idm into different applications and devices, including Palm, Outlook, and Outlook Express Windows address book. Patch Idm has a Patch Idm interface, making data synchronization easy for novices and professionals alike. Patch Idm can also be used as a migration tool to migrate your Palm data to PocketPC and vice versa. Added the possibility to select a different Patch Idm letter inside load/save dialogs. We had a lot of fun with PapaT's StartMenu9 Free. Not as a Patch Idm start menu widget, though it's not bad at it, but as an example of the sort of "handcrafted" software that's less common these days. S9's "look" isn't for everyone, but its functionality is up-to-date. What S9 does is place a floating Patch Idm icon that you can right-click to open an enhanced Patch Idm menu (extra stuff like Patch Idm Scratch Pad and various Modules) or double-click to show the Patch Idm (like Windows' Show Patch Idm button).
